What’s Covered in a Roadworthy Inspection

A Roadworthy Certificate ensures your vehicle meets the minimum safety standards set by VicRoads. It’s not a full mechanical check — but it focuses on critical safety components.

If your vehicle passes, we issue the RWC on the same day. If repairs are required, you’ll have 14 days to fix the issues and return for a free re-inspection.

A Roadworthy Certificate is valid for 30 days from the date of issue. It must be used within this timeframe for registration or transfer purposes.

We provide a clear list of items needing attention. You’ll have 14 days to return the vehicle for a free reinspection.
